Echoes of Time

'Echoes of time' was written on the occasion of a ruby wedding. The work contains musical themes that have had meaning over time for the commissioner. The title refers in a general sense to how time and what you experience shapes you and also determines a direction in your life. Furthermore, the title also has a musical meaning; in various places in the work, the subject of 'echo' has been transformed into a musical element. In the middle section, the song 'I will be there' can be heard, originally written by SELA.
