Adamas (fanfare)

Adamas was written in honor of Henk Buist’s 60-year membership with Christelijke Muziekvereniging Excelsior Baflo. The composition is based on the melody of his favorite hymn tune. The title, which can be translated as ‘diamond’ and ‘unbeatable’, refers to Henk Buist’s diamond wedding anniversery and his connection with Excelsior.
