New Music NOW commissions 20 composers to create a new composition and an audiovisual production thereof. The Provincial Brass Band Groningen and composer Arend Gerds will engage in a collaboration in which a new work entitled “Monolith” (working title), will be composed by Arend Gerds and premiered by the Provincial Brass Band Groningen. AE Audio Productions will make an audiovisual production of this new work, recorded at a location that will also be the subject of the composition, namely the Forum in Groningen.
