'Sounds from the monastery' in Elburg

At the initiative of Klanken uit het Klooster in Elburg, a new composition is being commissioned for four Fanfare bands within the municipality of Elburg. The work is an original composition for fanfare band, consisting of four separate movements, each dedicated to one of the villages where a fanfare ensemble is active: Elburg, Doornspijk, ’t Harde, and Oostendorp. Each movement musically portrays characteristic elements of the respective village, including its landscape and surroundings, local history, and other distinctive features. The composition will premiere next spring. Further information about the premiere will be shared at a later date.
