In 2026, wind band De Wilp celebrates its 125th anniversary. Since its founding, the band has played an important role within the community and has built a rich musical tradition, sustained by generations of members and volunteers.

To mark this anniversary, a new composition has been commissioned, which will premiere during the jubilee concert on Saturday, November 7, 2026. This new work serves as a musical tribute to the history and distinctive character of the wind band, while also looking towards the future.
