New Music NOW commissions 20 composers to create a new composition and an audiovisual production of it. The Provinciale Brassband Groningen and composer Arend Gerds will collaborate, in which a new work entitled 'Monolith' (working title), will be composed by Arend Gerds and premiered by the Provinciale Brassband Groningen. AE Audio Productions will make an audiovisual production of this new work, recorded on a location that will also be the topic of the composition, which is the Forum in Groningen.
